Sound Without Limits
Rosemary Clarizio’s musical journey—shaped by reward, challenge, discipline, and self-discovery—began in early childhood. She started piano at age five and began voice lessons at eighteen. Her passion for music led her to earn degrees in vocal performance from Manhattan School of Music and Mannes College, now part of The New School.
As a soprano, Rosemary embarked on a rewarding operatic career, performing as a soloist in opera houses and recital halls. Her performance credits include Baltimore Lyric Opera, New Rochelle Opera, One World Symphony, and Carnegie Hall.
Rosemary’s refined ear and exceptional musicianship were recognized and she was encouraged her to pursue teaching alongside her performance career. She soon discovered that sharing musical knowledge, developing young artists, and inspiring others could be every bit as rewarding as performing on stage.
Today, Rosemary brings together her experience as a performer, educator, choral instructor, and Performing Arts program builder. She sings with regional choirs and performs as a soprano soloist. She has also served as a Performing Arts Chairperson, Program Builder, and Choral Instructor at a premier private school in Westchester County, New York, where she has dedicated herself to developing young artists and creating meaningful opportunities for students to discover their own voices.
Her mission is deeply rooted in the belief that music has the power to educate, build community, heal, connect, and bring joy. Through teaching and performance, Rosemary is committed to nurturing the next generation of artists while honoring and continuing the legacy of classical vocal music.
In March 2022, Rosemary was honored to be featured among Westchester County Magazine’s inaugural Top Teachers of Westchester. The recognition highlighted her accomplishments as a leader of a thriving Performing Arts program and her positive influence on the young students she has had the privilege of teaching and mentoring.
Beyond the Stage & Classroom

Her commitment to discipline and personal achievement extends beyond music as well. In 2017, she accomplished the extraordinary challenge of running the New York City Marathon.
Rosemary continues to pursue vocal and musical excellence every day, embracing new opportunities to perform, teach, create, and inspire. She lives in Mount Vernon, New York, with her devoted husband and son.
Her journey continues—with music as her mission, education as her calling, and joy at the heart of it all.
